Morning Meetings
Fourth Tuesday – 4th Tuesdays at 10:00 (or so). This group provides an opportunity for members and potential members to get to know each other and have interesting conversations. Everyone is welcome. We seem to have different people show up every time and different conversations between 2-3 people or with the whole group, which is usually 5-10 people. Topics “emerge” and are everything from, local and state politics and world affairs to what, in our own lives, is important. This is a “drop-in” affair! Chair: Janet Matwiyoff, 505-821-0418
STEM Task Force – 3rd Thursday – If you’d like to join us, send us an e–mail at aauw.stem.abq@gmail.com The Branch STEM Task Force has or will “table,” present programs, plan or coordinate for various events, and represent AAUW at STEM networking events with other organizations in the Albuquerque area. Typically we participate in The Boys and Girls Club “Discovery Festival” in October, a Branch program in October, Tech Trek Reunions, essay reading for Tech Trek in March, the STEM Symposium [sponsored by Dept. of Ed.] early June, and possible other events to be announced. Travel – 3rd Mondays at 1:30. Place varies, Each meeting presents a different location based on presenters’ travels. Chair: Ted Cooley, 505-255-3720.

Variable Schedule
Traveling Library – Active throughout the year – Current Literature sponsors the Traveling Library, started in 1926, through which current fiction and non-fiction is circulated and costs participating $20. No meetings to attend, just good reading. Sign up for the Traveling Library in December. Books are selected in January and begin circulation in April.
